Friday 27 March show
In the first of a new series, tonight's theme is ONE. One show each month will have a 'number' theme - next month it will be TWO, the month after THREE, and so on. (By the time we get to about six or seven, it's going to be getting difficult!)
Recap of STRANGE show
Things got quite STRANGE on the show last Friday night, then STRANGER and even STRANGEST. Thanks to all the listeners who sent emails (onair@joy.org.au) and text messages (0427 JOY 949).

Costumes: Nat wore Bjork's strange swan costume from the Oscars a few years ago; Daniel came as Dr Strangepork from Pigs in Space; and Katie was a strange-nosed chameleon.
The Conversation Pit with Nat: The slightly naughty topic du jour was 'What is the strangest thing that someone's ever done to you in a sexual situation?' Nat said hers involved whipped cream in a can; Daniel said something about fisting; and Katie shared that she had once been propositioned thusly: 'How would you like some internal massage?' Listener contributions included being sodomised by twins in Berlin (thanks, Addam!), and trying to send an SMS to Theme Party while having sex. Yes.
Katie's Clutch Purse: Miscellaneous trivia about animals and places with 'strange' in their name, the expressions 'strange but true' and 'strange bedfellows', and the history of the famous song Strange Fruit.
Daniel's Cocktail Menu: How to make a Stranger-in-Town, Jonathan Strange, Strangeways to Oldham, Stranger's Candy and Strange Banana.

Katie's Clutch Purse: Explanations on the origins of popular superstitions - here is a good link for anyone interested in reading more.
